elisefouin

Elise Fouin
In her curious cabinet, Elise Fouin is always ready to make concrete demonstrations. How did she mix all her sources of inspiration to crystallize such a singular work? She comes from the Franche-Comté region where she grew up in an old monastery. She trained at Ecole Boulle in Paris, first at the goldsmith's, then she went from manufacturing to design, turning to furniture design. A double formation, like a balance, to find its point of balance. For her diploma in 2003, she takes a step aside, ventures successfully towards the implementation of paper, designer who gives himself the freedom of the artist. Because it is with his hands first that this designer tames the matter. Feast of unforeseen, listening to the behavior of materials, she is betting on unexpected formatting. Factories are one of her favorite playgrounds, where she tracks falls and scraps.

antoinephelouzat

Antoine Phelouzat

Today he lives and works in Paris, he is naturally turned towards the international and maintains long-standing collaborations with India and North America. yoonseuxarchitectes

Yoonseux Architects

The association of two cultures occupies a decisive place in the definition of projects, in particular through the relationship between interior and exterior spaces, the capture of light, the sensitive and tactile dimension of different spaces, materials. As a touch device, the body is fully solicited in a sensory experience with different surface states of matter and light. The agency's research and activity is developing through national and international competitions, including major projects such as the 3 Satellite at Charles de Gaulle Airport and the Nice City Hall. Under the impulse of these projects, the architectural approach of the agency is synthesized around the themes of structure and light.
