Outofstock : Bridge Shelves

Based between Barcelona and Singapore, the collective of designers Outofstock created the shelf "Bridge Shelves". Inspired by suspension bridges, the room pretending imbalance is published by the Danes Bolia.

The system is built around a wooden rod fixed to the wall on which are suspended three trays of massive oaks. Maintained by folded and painted green or white metal rods, these shelves allow the user to adjust the settings as you like.

On this project, the designers specify:

"We have always been fascinated by the beauty and engineering marvel of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge. Strong and functional, at the same time awe-inspiring."
