SPC Technocons : Résidence 54

Cracked, dilapidated, dilapidated ... so many adjectives that could define this home of Bangkok (Thailand) dating from the 1980 years. It was not counting on the intervention of the agency SPC Technocons in 2016 offers a second life to this town house. The result ? A contemporary villa with an industrial style full of surprises.

If it seemed to fall into ruin, the concrete structure of this house was still preserved by the architects - but reinforced - and completed in the front by a metal openwork fence that gives it its full identity. This grid dedicated to accommodate vegetation is a way to connect the home of 200 square meters outside. This link with nature also justifies the installation of many bay windows and especially a large rotating window on the first floor. A simple crank and the living room extends into the terrace!

A way to soften the aesthetic aesthetic of this three-level loft made of steel, concrete and brick, made for a couple. If on the ground floor there is only one parking space with two places, the first level - accessible through an original Corten steel door - is dedicated to the unique living room. This living space reflects the past life of the house through a partially bare plaster wall that reveals the original red bricks. In the center of the room, a thin retractable staircase, always in Corten steel, leads to the night floor with landing that can serve as extra bedroom and a large suite of 45 square meters.

Unvaste remains in New York's spirit in the heart of Thailand.
