Encore Heureux : 507 Fab House

World Group Hutchinson asked the Paris branch Encore Heureux to renovate and rehabilitate the former industrial site based in Châlette-sur-Loing (45) in place of life in business and innovation: 507 Fab House.

This project is both a place of convergence for foreign subsidiaries and an iconic meeting place for customers and employees of the brand. The cross is at the heart of the transformation of the building, with facilities dedicated to collaborative work, exchange and meetings, such as relaxation areas and a library. The introduction of communication devices, such as 3D room where he can view the manufacturer's products inserted in a real environment or the immersive room - instead of latest video meeting - definitely anchor the building in a dynamic innovative.

Besides the desire to appear as an inventive facility, the group wants to tell his story and its values in the 507 Fab House. The architects have therefore made with the rich architectural heritage of the factory which Gustave Eiffel for the steel structure dating back to 1869 oblong splits the building into three bays. These vintage structures, interior walls kept the status and apparent left technical networks pay homage to the site's industrial liability.

The agency Encore Heureux gives this space a warm and friendly atmosphere. The choice of wood and concrete enhances the natural brightness through-space. In this area 4 200 m², high ceiling exposed, architects play on changes in levels with bleachers and light wooden bleachers positioned centrally connecting the two levels of the building. Used as a place of presentation or relaxing, these facilities materialize differences in site occupancy amplitudes. Unlike the ground floor which has many enclosed spaces, including meeting rooms, the upper plate is completely cleared in order to accommodate larger and more punctual gatherings. Far from being oppressive, this large space unencumbered rhyme rather with creativity and mobility.

This unique project combines industry and architecture under the sign of innovation while enhancing the historical heritage.
