Habitation A83 par Calimucho

Street 83 Alliance to Clabecq in Belgium, the architectural firm Calimucho renovated and expanded this small town house. Painted gold, it is extended by a lateral extension shaped house archetype, concrete frame clad in composite panels. Gold or Corten steel dressed, two boxes protruding pierce its envelope, punctuating the façade and interior bathing in natural light.

On this project, the architects specify Calimucho:

"Boxes out in some parts of the project, for reasons both aesthetic and functional (gears lights inflows and bedside table in room). One is gold as if it came out, pushing the existing dwelling, the Corten steel is another (which is found in other places too ... at the gateways in particular). the project is located in post-industrial and steel area exclusively. Just as the post construction -médiévales were built with castles recovery elements deserted by the lords ... We like the idea that steel come punctuate a few projects in the region. "
