Street Alliance 83 Clabecq in Belgium, the architectural Calimucho remodeled and expanded this small town house. Painted in gold, it is extended by a lateral extension in form of house archetype, concrete frame clad composite panels. Gold or dressed Corten steel, two boxes protruding percent its envelope, punctuating the facade and bathed in natural light inside.
On this project, the architects of Calimucho specify:
"The boxes come in some areas of the project, for both aesthetic and functional reasons (contributions lights gears and nightstand in the room). One is golden as if it came out, pushing the existing dwelling, the another is Corten steel (found in other places also ... at gateways in particular). The project is implemented in post-industrial and steel area exclusively. Along with the post construction medieval-were built with elements of recovery castles deserted by the lords ... We like the idea that steel comes punctuate some projects in the region. "
